  • Restaurant inspection results are kept by the city or county health department; many publish them online or post the latest grade at the door.
  • For table service a tip of 15–20% is customary; at counter-service places tipping is optional.

We had a wonderful experience adopting our new girl from Black Cat Beanery. Within minutes of meeting her during our first visit, we bonded and knew we wanted to bring her home. Dave walked us through the whole adoption process and was patient with all our questions. He genuinely wanted to make sure it was the right match, both for her and for us. You can tell the volunteers really care about these cats. Everyone we met was warm and welcoming, and the cats themselves were relaxed and social, happy to hang out with visitors (bribing them with Churu didn't hurt). Our girl is about a year old and didn't have an easy start. She'd actually been scheduled for euthanasia before BCB took her in. The fact that she's already so affectionate and trusting tells you everything about how they cared for her. We're so grateful they gave her a second chance and that she found her way to us. Love this place! Highly recommend!

Went here a couple weeks ago on a whim after my doctors appointment and literally the best place ever. The cats are all absolute darlings and so sweet and the staff are so kinda and patient!!! I got to feed Carl and Electra a tube treat and they tried to eat the plastic. 10000/10 will be going here after my doctors appointments from now on. If the staff sees this, tell Jupiter I love her and would die for her πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

We made a reservation on my birthday for the "Adults Only" time slot, but we had to reschedule twice because of the winter storms that kept interfering with our reservation. We finally made it the 3rd week though, and the owners were cool and understanding about it. Overall the flexibility was much appreciated, and the drive was worth it. The owner also gave us each cat treats upon greeting us which really helped get the cats to open up to us too. You'll be asked to take your shoes off or wear socks, or you can put shoe covers on as well. You'll go through another 2 set of doors, passing through a coat room to store your shoes and coats before you finally meet the cats. The cat room itself is neat and clean with lots of cat furniture and places to sit. They had music quietly playing and the lights low when we were there. There were only a few other small groups of people with us including the owners, so it was quiet and a good environment to hang out with some cats. The cats all seemed happy and with a wide range of personalities, It was nice the more shy ones could go into the staff areas through the cat-door whenever they wanted. I love the setup of this place, the snack/coffe

Absolutely LOVED! I’ve been to a few cafes across the U.S. and this one that is local and 30mins from home was the best! The ones I’ve been in seemed like you could β€œsmell” the cats and was like you left smelling like it. This one smelled SO good as soon as you opened the door. 15/10 would recommend coming to see these kitties, even the spicy ones! Already planning the next trip!

I loved it so much here. The staff were very friendly and kind. The cats were so adorable. All of them with their own unique personalities. I have cats of my own, so I was able to bond with them. It is beautiful to see that they have all their cats up for adoption and how you are able to play with the cats and get to know them. The environment was clean and welcoming. The cats looked very comfortable and happy. Some of them were even playing with each other! You can tell that they are taken care of very well and are loved by the staff and people who come by.
